1. How do I register on SurveyLion.com?
Joining SurveyLion.com is easy and free! Simply click the sign up now button and complete the registration form. It is very important that you complete the registration process by clicking on the link in the email that will be sent to you
2. Who is eligible to register?
We encourage anyone 16 years of age or older to register to our panel. We need the opinions of a wide range of people from all over the world to get our clients the information they require.
3. Is registering on SurveyLion free?
Yes! Not only is the site free, we will never try to sell anything to you or sell your name to any lists. SurveyLion makes money the same way you do - through our clients that require answers to their research questions.
4. What is expected of panelists?
All that we expect of our panelists is their honest responses to the questions they are asked. We will invite you to participate in any survey that you may qualify for. We don't expect any panelist to complete all of them. Simply do what you can. If you like our site, we also expect that you'll tell your friends.
5. What are the benefits of joining?
Joining our panel offers you the opportunity to have your voice heard and guide in the development of many products and services. There is always an incentive for completing surveys: cash; gift certificate; free products; etc. We value your time as well as your opinions and will always inform you of the specifics of the incentive prior to you beginning a survey.
6. Will my information remain confidential?
All information that you provide to SurveyLion will remain completely confidential on our secure server. No personally identifiable information will ever be given to a third party without your prior written consent.
7. Why do you ask for personal information?
We require some of your personal information for a number of reasons. First, we have many demographic quotas to fill when collecting data for our clients. If we weren't able to pre-screen our panel, we wouldn't be able to return the data to our clients based on a representative sample. Finally, we need your information so that we can compensate you for your time!
8. Why didn't I receive my confirmation email?
If your confirmation email didn't come through, chances are that it got caught in your spam filter. Please check your spam filter and ensure that you can receive all future emails from surveylion.com. Also, please email firstname.lastname@example.org from the email address entered asking us to verify your membership.
9. How do I change my profile information?
To update your profile information, log in to your account and click 'Edit Profile' on the left.
10. Is there a referral program for inviting my friends/family?
Yes! You can earn $3 for each friend you refer through our Refer-A-Friend program! For more information, see the terms & conditions for referrals.
11. How will you contact me to complete a survey?
When you become eligible for a survey, often you will receive an email from us with a link directing you to the survey. Regardless of whether you receive an email invitation or not though, all surveys that you are eligible for will be listed on the 'Paid Surveys' page (which is accessible after you login).
12. How long do surveys take?
The majority of surveys can be completed in 5-15 minutes. We will always provide an estimated completion time in the invitation email.
13. Can I get more surveys?
The best way to get invited to more surveys is to keep your profile information up to date. Additionally, each profile survey that you complete provides us with more information to pre-qualify you for surveys (coming soon).
14. How will I be paid?
All payments are currently being made by cheque, upon each individual member's request. We currently allow for members to accumulate their incentives, by allowing them to request payments if and when they wish to receive a cheque. For more information see: How incentive payments work
15. When will my payment arrive?
All payments requested prior to the first day of the months below will be mailed out on the 15th of that same month.
